New local author publishes relationship advice
I was particularly interested in this story about a local author because I enjoy reading so much. I spoke with him Tuesday and attended his lecture yesterday where he spoke more about the book. Click here to find out a local author's take on young love.

Students comepete for Miss Georgia
For this article I was able to speak with Miss Georgia Pageant contestants from UGA before and after the pageant. A UGA student ended up being named first runner-up too, so that turned out well for the newsworthy aspect of the article. Click here to read about the UGA contestants in this year's Miss Georgia Pageant.

More wireless, more fees
I'm not too happy with the headline for this article. It gives the wrong implication. When I spoke with the coordinator for instructional and distance technologies she told me that technology fee increases are usually because of projects (such as wireless). But she never said the increase was specifically for more wireless on campus. I wish the person who wrote the headline had not jumped to that conclusion.
I hope the way I presented the information in the article was clear. I'm still getting the hang of news writing. Click here to read about the technology fee increase at UGA.
